Kathrin Stauffer, PhD, UKCP registered Body and Integrative Psychotherapist, was born and educated in Switzerland. Originally trained as a Biochemist, she became more and more interested in describing the human organism from a subjective rather than objective point of view, and thus retrained as a Body Psychotherapist with the Chiron Centre in London and Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre.
Kathrin works in private practice in Cambridge and London, offering individual psychotherapy, biodynamic massage, EMDR and supervision for psychotherapists, counsellors and complementary therapists. She teaches Anatomy and Physiology at the London School of Biodynamic Psychotherapy.
Kathrin is the current Chair of the Chiron Association for Body Psychotherapists, a member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the European Association for Body Psychotherapists (EABP).
Her book, Anatomy and Physiology for Psychotherapists: Connecting Body & Soul, was published by W.W. Norton in September 2010.
