The Work of Byron Katie is a way of identifying and questioning the thoughts that cause all the fear, violence, depression, frustration, and suffering in the world.

Experience the happiness of undoing those thoughts through The Work, and allow your mind to return to its true, awakened, peaceful, creative nature.

People who do The Work as an ongoing practice commonly report:

Alleviation of depression: Find resolution, even happiness, in situations that were once debilitating.
Decreased stress: Learn how to live with less anxiety or fear.
Improved relationships: Experience deeper connection and intimacy with your partner, your parents, your children, your friends and yourself.
Reduced anger: Understand what makes you angry and resentful, and become less reactive, less often, with less intensity.
Increased mental clarity: Live and work more intelligently and effectively with integrity.
More energy: Experience a new sense of ongoing vigour and well-being.
More peace: Discover how to become “a lover of what is.”
The Work consists of four questions and your turnarounds
  • Can you absolutely know it’s true?
  • How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought?
  • Who would you be without that thought?
  • Turnaround the concept you are questioning and be sure to find at least three genuine, specific examples of each turnaround.

ANTONY LEHMANN, Positive Turnaround CIC
Byron Katies The work, Certified Facilitator

Antony’s initial involvement with counselling and therapy began back in 1982 with Transactional Analysis. Throughout the eighties and early nineties, Antony’s focus turned increasingly toward group-work incorporating the principles of Gestalt, Fritz Perls and the work of Carl Rogers.

In 2010 Antony attended the School for the Work of Byron Katie in Germany. The experience proved to be profoundly life changing. “I noticed permanent changes in all walks of my life.”  In 2011 Antony went to Los Angeles to attend his second workshop where he joined the programme to become a Certified Facilitator for The Work.  In November 2014 Antony became an accredited facilitator for The Work. He now travels through Europe teaching The Work.
The transformation at the School was truly amazing and I noticed permanent changes in all aspects of my life.

After that first school, I joined the programme to become a Certified Facilitator for The Work and completed it 4 years later in November 2014.
Positive Turnaround is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company set up to provide a new way of delivering health or social care services at local and national level by equipping anybody who is regularly stressed, with ways they can identify; question and turn around stressful thoughts.
