Michelle is a fully qualified and registered Art Psychotherapist with a Masters Degree in Art Psychotherapy. Michelle works with children, young people and adults. She is a full member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT) and is registered with HCPC.
Before training as an Art Psychotherapist Michelle had a career in education working in primary, secondary and continuing education.
Since qualifying as an Art Psychotherapist 9 years ago, Michelle has worked with children, young people and families across the North West.
As well as working in private practice, Michelle has worked with One Education’s Emotional Trauma Support Service; Core Assets Children’s Services; Young Carers; Adoption Counts and Adult Mental Health Carers.
Michelle works in an integrative manner, drawing on a range of thinking, ideas and techniques which are uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the individual whether that is an child, adolescent, adults at any stage of life.
Michelle predominantly provides individual work, but can offer small group, sibling, dyadic (parent-child), and family work when suitable. Michelle works with pre-school to teenagers age groups.

Michelle is an HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists and abides by the code of ethics of both. Michelle is DBS checked for working with children, young people and vulnerable adults.
